For
school and community events, Amy performs on guitar,
banjo, percussion and harmonica as a soloist or with
other talented musicians. As a soloist, Amy gets children
and
adults involved in singing, dancing, playing and laughing
together. Puppet and singalong
programs including small and large movement (when space available) for
libraries, preschools and other early childhood programs are Amy's
specialty, with or without a special theme. "Folkenergy!" is
Amy's band including electric bass, percussion and lead instruments.
"Dance the Barn Down" is another
a great choice for
festive
family events. Contras, squares, circle dances and mixers along
with singalongs and family fun.... this trio of fiddle, bass
and guitar (or piano) is perfect for family nights at elementary
schools or
community events, and features Amy playing piano or guitar along with
veteran musicians Doc Rudolph on fiddle and Frank Woodward
as caller/bassist (Frank is listed on the New Hampshire Council of the
Arts roster). All dances are taught first and appropriate for all
ages.
Amy also performs as the duo "Fine Folk" with
Doc Rudolph (guitar/banjo
and violin) for special occasions such as school graduations, parties
or community dinners.
